Robert Graham Shirts Rock.

February 24th, 2009

Okay - I know Robert Graham’s can come off a bit fruity.  They’re intimidating, there’s just no denying that.  But hear me out.  His shirts are the most ridiculously amazing pieces of clothing I’ve ever worn.  Every time I wear a Robert Graham I get compliment after compliment.  The construction quality is about a 9 out of 10, the stitching and embroidery is top notch, and for the most part the color palettes are great.  Occasionally they’re just a bit too far over the top… but you just have to trust that once the shirt is on, it will look solid.  The fact that they’re produced in low volumes and have a wide variety of styles, is also nice - if you’re wearing a shirt like THIS, you don’t want to run into someone else with the same one.  I think it’s about time I pull the trigger again on one of these.

Weeds Season 1

February 10th, 2009

I just ordered - and watched via my Xbox NetFlix Account - this ENTIRE season over the weekend.  As I write this I’m watching Season 2.

One Word: Awesome!

So the premise is this: Middle Aged, white, upper-middle class woman in California suburbia.  Her husband dies, and she needs to start selling dope to make ends meet.  Everything CLASSIC comes out of this woman’s life colliding with the ghetto, her family meltdown, and California suburbanites.

I cannot recommend this series enough.  Definitely 5 out of 5 stars.

HP Pavilion dv6700

January 20th, 2009

I have been using this laptop for several months now. It’s configured with a dual core1.83Ghz processor. Originally it had 2 GB of memory but since it’s running Windows Vista it was going a bit slow. I upgraded to 4 GB of memory though from Micron for a cost of about $50 and after that it’s been running a lot better.

The computer came loaded up with tons of useful programs - including, evidently, a Full Version of The Sims! I loaded MS Office onto it and have been chugging away ever since. The Laptop was purchased from Costco and I think ran about $700. It weighs a bit more than the Dell it replaced, but the screen is super slick and battery life is better.

ByteBooth.com - Free Web and Application Hosting

January 15th, 2009

My friend told me the other day about a new service called ByteBooth.  He uses it to host all of his hobby websites.  So I went over, signed up for the service, and uploaded a small website: http://m3addict.bytebooth.com …The best part about it, is that it’s completely free.

I have to say it was super slick.  Just filled out their signup form, checked my email for the confirmation, and was off and running.  They have an interface that makes it easy to upload files through the browser, or an FTP option for advanced users.  Another cool part about ByteBooth is that they provide the ability to automatically install applications like WordPress with just a few clicks of a  button - seriously, it’s all taken care of for you in the background.  Really cool, I don’t know any other Free Hosting services like this around.

ByteBooth gives you 2 GB of disk space, 150 Gigabytes of Bandwidth, FTP Access, Immediate publication of uploaded files, an experienced support staff, a custom domain, and free instant application hosting.

Check it out: http://www.bytebooth.com

Get The Straight Scoop

January 6th, 2009

I’ve decided to add this review section to M3Addict so that you can get solid product & service recommendations.  Doesn’t really matter what it is, I’ll review it and recommend anything that is worth using.  There’s a lot of fluff floating around in this world, and this can be the place you come to to get the straight scoop from one of your own.

Cheers,

-Tim
